Ingredients
All produce, including the ingredients we use, are meat and dairy free and are suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Products are made to an allergen and gluten free recipe with appropriate control methods to prevent cross-contamination. As of January 2022, products sold in our shop are prepared in a kitchen shared with food makers who may handle any of the 14 major allergens.
The main ones include, but are not limited to: meat, fish, dairy, nuts, soya and cereals (gluten).
With regards to businesses we share our premises with, appropriate internal procedures are followed in line with our risk assessment processes to fully mitigate the unlikely risk of cross-contamination before, during and after food preparation.
Although meals are cooked to an allergen free and gluten free recipe, we cannot fully guarantee our meals are free from any specific allergens.
Please consider these risks before ordering if you have any allergies or intolerances.
Gluten Free and FODMAP
None of the ingredients listed in any of our 9 meals contain gluten.
Both the macaroni and breadcrumbs in Mac & More are made of gluten free ingredients. The Lean Bean Tagine includes cous cous which is made from cornmeal. However, as stated above, all products are prepared in an environment that handles cereals containing gluten. Again, please consider this risk before ordering if you have any allergies or intolerances.
All beans and legumes used are pre-canned and cooked. Both are rinsed thoroughly under cold water before use.
Storage
All meals arrives as frozen within a biodegradable container and lid. Store in freezer immediately upon arrival.
Consume frozen meals within 1 month of delivery.
Serving
All products can either be prepared in the microwave or a standard household oven. See serving instructions on packet for more details.
Food Hygiene
Kitchen members hold at least Level 2 certificate in Food Safety. A level 5 Food Hygiene Rating (the highest) was awarded to the kitchen premises in July 2021.
Shipping Zones
We are able to deliver to most of Great Britain using next day courier service. This includes all of England, Wales and parts of southern and central Scotland. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, Outer Hebrides, Lerwick, Shetland, Channel Islands and the Republic of Ireland (Eire) at this time, but we hope to be able to do so in the near future.

Payment
Payment for orders is processed securely through Stripe where all major debit and credit cards are accepted. You can order with or without a PayPal account.
Delivery (Great Britain)
Orders will be fulfilled within 3-5 business days. We will make contact with you once you have placed your order to arrange a delivery date and time.
Your order parcel will include frozen gel packs to keep your items suitably refrigerated during transit.
We currently have a minimum order amount of 4 meals.
Refunds
We offer no refunds unless in exceptional circumstances due to administrative costs. This will be decided entirely at our own discretion. Please remember that when you place an order you are committing to purchase.
Packaging
All meals are packaged in a biodegradable container and lid composed of sugar cane, both of which are compostable.
Cardboard sleeves are fully recyclable. These should be recycled with other paper-based materials at home. Paper carrier bags, including stickers, used for delivery can also be recycled accordingly.
Nationwide orders will also include parcel boxes, tape and void fill which are all paper-based so you can also recycle these bits at home. The frozen gel packs, also included, are completely food safe and can be used for picnics or used in lunchboxes. If required, the contents can be disposed of via your normal domestic waste system, and the outer film is totally recyclable as LDPE 4.
COVID-19
Appropriate measures are in place for safe and secure preparation, packaging and delivery of food products in line with statutory obligations. Please let us know on your order notes if you have any special delivery requirements.
