Tendai Taruvinga named Young Innovators Awards 21/22 Winner

We’re thrilled to be able to finally announce that Tendai Taruvinga, founder of Veafy, has been named as a winner of the Young Innovators Awards 2021/22!

The Young Innovators Awards is a programme which runs annually, and aims to showcase 60+ young entrepreneurs working on game-changing, innovative business ideas and projects across Britain.

For over a year, with Veafy, Tendai has cooked and delivered 100% plant-based African-inspired meals to households across the UK, with a mission of enhancing representation and accessibility of goods and services within the food and drinks sector.

The awards programme, which is led by Innovate UK, the United Kingdom innovation agency, will provide grant funding and one-to-one business coaching as part of a robust support package for all of the fantastic 63 winners throughout 2022. This package will help Tendai to develop as a founder and young innovator, and will aide Veafy in the next stage of growth.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Innovate UK, KTN for selecting Tendai as a winner of the award. Also, a special mention to the The Prince’s Trust, who have supported Veafy from day one.
